Specializations

Cardiac Nurse

Cardiac nurses provide direct assistance to patients with heart failure or heart disease or who have suffered a heart attack. They assess patients' needs, administer medications, and help implement treatment plans in conjunction with Cardiologists.

Pediatric Nurse

Pediatric nurses are registered nurses who specialize in caring for patients from birth through adolescence. They must have a thorough understanding of childhood growth and development, as illnesses and conditions in children often present and are treated differently than in adults. That's why it's important to dedicate yourself and understand since you're dealing with children who often can't express what they're feeling.

Travel Nurse

Travel nurses temporarily fill the nursing shortage in hospitals and other healthcare facilities in your area. They may spend days, weeks or months working in a specific community before taking on an assignment in a new workplace.
